I’m grateful to everyone who turned out today, and to those who supported my campaign -- especially during the runoff! I’m proud to have led a positive, constructive, and non-partisan campaign, and I’m looking forward to working with the rest of the council, staff and residents on the issues facing our city. Cedar Falls can be a nationally-recognized model for resident engagement, neighborhood vitality, and community strategic planning, and I’m eager to help in that effort.
I especially want to thank my family for allowing me to run -- particularly during the 6-8 hour doorknocking days all summer!
