As expected, nothing controversial is on the docket for tonight's City Council meeting. I do recommend scanning the CAPER document (pages 57-121 in the Council packet) if you have an interest in the city's support for economically disadvantaged residents. Also, we've got a request in for the city's first municipal electric vehicle charging station, as a pilot project (Item #17). Prior to that 7pm meeting, we'll be meeting for Committee of the Whole at 5:35 to get an update on the Downtown Visioning project (scheduled for 60 minutes). As I've mentioned before, the Downtown Visioning project (https://ourcedarfalls.com/) is a major first component in a city-wide overhaul of our 1970's-era zoning laws. It's important to be informed about it!
Hope to see you this evening...or you can watch it on Channel 15 or streaming live on YouTube. Thanks for your interest in civics!
