Rob Green is an all-around good guy. He’s honest, earnest, and genuinely loves Cedar Falls. I believe he will work hard to strengthen our communities and to seek out the solutions to issues in our town. He has shown that he is willing to research, talk to residents, and find the best way forward. Check out his website and read his views on the issues. From experience, I can tell you he will answer any questions you have, and not just dance around an issue to make himself look better. With him, what you see is what you get. No hate, no games, no prejudice.

Spread the word about Rob Green. I am military retired with much disaster education and a Liaison Officer with the Iowa National Guard, Rob is the only candidate with qualifications to preserve Critical Infrastructure for Cedar Falls during a disaster.

  • Clint Wrede

I’m pretty sure Rob Green was born for this sort of work.

Rob has already thrown himself into community service and action. He’s been a leader of numerous efforts, including the promotion of personal networks in neighborhoods, to help people get to know, and thus care about, their neighbors.

I hope my fellow Cedar Falls citizens will elect Rob Green while we can—before he becomes president or something.

I met Rob through his volunteer work with the Overman Park Neighborhood Association about 5 years ago. I’m not sure I could tell you what Rob’s full-time job is, because he seems to have a dozen. Rob tirelessly devotes his time to areas of the community that need a leader and a catalyst to keep us moving and progressing. I consider Rob a tremendous asset to our neighborhoods and to our city. He recognizes smart growth and knows the potential of Cedar Falls. There’s no one better qualified for this important job. I endorse Rob Green for Council!

One of Rob’s greatest traits is his ability to look at a situation or problem from a unique perspective. Rob has embraced his adopted home of Cedar Falls in many ways; he has spearheaded the use of online apps to better connect neighborhoods, has regularly attended and participated in city council meetings, and in 2016 he lead an impressive volunteer flood relief effort organizing people and supplies and applying his creative perspective in overcoming logistical issues. For these reasons and others I am working with Rob on this new exciting venture!

Rob Green will be a fact-based city council person. He listens to all sides, and respectfully.

I first knew Rob Green as president of our neighborhood association. He had lots of fresh ideas but wanted feedback. He took initiative to use his computer skills to develop a map of all of Cedar Falls’ neighborhoods, in an attempt to encourage better neighborhood identity and interaction. He introduced a program, Nextdoor, which is helping neighbors re-connect with each other and reestablish a tradition of neighborhood picnics and cooperation.

Rob really stepped up during last year’s floods. There were some gaps in CF’s ability to get the word out about what was happening and how people could volunteer, Rob developed a Facebook group to fill the void. He made a real difference in how many people were able to help and in sending them to the places that needed help.

And finally, in these politically adversarial times, Rob has shown that he will listen to people. He wants to know the facts and he wants to hear different points of view so that he can arrive at the best possible decision.

We’ve appreciated Rob’s creative, energetic servant-leadership in the dozen or so years he’s been our neighbor. He’s using his strategic skills, artistic talent and networking abilities to map neighborhood zones in Cedar Falls that will empower other residential areas to connect in ways that will enhance the quality of life for our entire city and be a model for other cities. Rob has the capacity to do great things. Neighbor by neighbor, block by block, neighborhood by neighborhood – Go Green!!!
